Description
Math Puzzles Skip Counting by 2, 5s, 10s, 100 include over 120 editable activities and skip counting to use all year! You can edit each of the puzzles to focus on addition, subtraction, multiplication, division…even letters that spell out words. These make great math centers and can be used as independent, partner, whole group activities or sent home as homework practice. The best part about editable puzzles? They’re incredibly versatile. Differentiate and make multiple puzzles for different ability levels, all with a single puzzle (one group of students can be working on addition within 20, while another is working on double digit multiplication…and the puzzles look the same!). Students complete the problems, then put the strips in order (i.e. least to greatest or vice versa).
This bundle includes tons of puzzles to use for seasons and holidays throughout the year, plus a BONUS all-in-one file with tons of extra puzzles that can be used any time of year (science, animals, sports, etc.). That’s over 120 colored puzzles to choose from, plus the additional black and white versions of each puzzle, and the mixed-up versions to give to students to do the cutting.
What are Editable Math Number Puzzles?
Each strip puzzle is divided into 10 strips (with editable spaces for you to type in the numbers/equations/whatever skill you want to focus on), then just print and cut! Students solve and put the strips in order to complete the puzzle.
Why do I need Editable Math Number Puzzles?
If you’ve ever wanted more control over what your students are learning and wished you could target a specific skill you are working on, these editable math puzzles are made for you. They’re perfect for differentiating based on student ability and grade levels, and easy to adjust as students make progress throughout the year.
Who doesn’t need Editable Math Number Puzzles?
Teachers looking for ready-made, print and go puzzles. These strips are not prefilled with various numbers or equations (they have 1-10 as placeholder text), so editing the strips will give you the full benefit to maximize this resource.
You will receive a link to a Google Slides file that contains 10 editable spaces. You can also download as a PowerPoint from Slides (in Slides, File, Download, Microsoft PowerPoint) if you prefer to use the PowerPoint version.
