Great job! All so true! I have said the same thing about scrubs. I worked in an ER before teaching (though I knew from a young age I would be a teacher…. 23 years later I am still teaching.)

Listened to this in my classroom while prepping (with door closed, of course) and quickly recommended it to another teacher friend. We are both in the middle of our first teaching year so this really hit home for us. Thank you! When is the next episode coming?!

Thank you for this!!! I needed this. I had the worst year. I have been teaching for 1 1/2 years, and lesson planning has been so difficult for me. I obtained my teaching certificate alternatively. I have a degree in Social Work. My student teacher mentor was terrible and did not prepare me at all. The teacher that was assigned to me this year as my mentor actually told me that I should not need any help with lesson planning. She said said she did not have anyone help her. I cried so much this year. She was removed from being my mentor. Let’s just say that I definitely learned how not to treat a new teacher. I will always go out of my way to help another teacher. Thank you so much for this.
