buh bye sucker September!

I'm linking up with Farley for Currently October!
Gavin follows the dog around constantly. He waits by the back door for her to go outside and calls her until she comes back. I need to get it on video before he doesn't do it anymore!

I'm loving the fact that I get to wear leggings (including my stretchy cord leggings!) and boots again!

Mr.Tongass has been working on fixing our gate that has been falling over. He's been on and off working on the house for the last 3 years, which is great, but it keeps him away from Cheeks and I. The next time we are looking to buy a house, it will be a new one!

Every night I put Cheeks to bed, he puts his head on my shoulder and we just sway for a bit. He is such a sweetheart. He pats my shoulder and then points to the crib to go down...he's tricking us into thinking we can handle 2 babies! Lately, I've been feeling like time is slipping away and he's just getting so big. I love holding him in the middle of the night and remembering how it was just a year ago. I know it won't be any easier and like everyone says, "they grow so fast," but I can't help but be sad about it anyway.

Our district and union tried to negotiate a contract last year. They didn't budge. We agreed to take our old pay scale for another year until they figured out how to budget in our cost of living raises. They didn't. We are at an impasse. Time to rally before a strike is necessary! Have you ever gone through one? What was it like? Any thoughts?

I just ate some of my FAVORITE cookies and thought I would share a super easy recipe (click the cookies) to make them! It takes 10 minutes and there's no cooking involved (perfect for me). Enjoy!

Did you go get the recipe? Are you eating cookies yet? Good! Now don't forget to enter my clipart giveaway! You could win all of my clipart bundles!

  6. Oh my gosh those cookies look delicious! I know how you feel with your sweet Cheeks. But the good news is- every stage is JUST as much FUN! I used to be afraid of the teenage years, but you can just do more fun and different things then-:) Oh my gosh I am so ready for fall/winter clothes. I am so sick of my other stuff! :)
